The fee to you will be a low rate as it goes directly to producing the home sellers Pack, I don’t employ sales reps or have a costly franchise set up to run. Being independent, it is up to you how you arrange conveyance or mortgage matters, although I can introduce you to local independent providers.

If you order a Home information Pack directly from Inspect your Energy you own the HIP.
An Estate Agent can’t use it to lock you in to a contract.
A hard copy of the HIP will be made for you or your Agent; this will also be on-line for any potential buyers. Some HIP providers will charge for a hard copy, this should be free to you.

You have the choice, but you will need the EPC done by a Domestic Energy Assessor.

Why not have an energy rating done even if you are not selling. it can save you money.

Qualified Energy Assessors are trained to assess the structure of your home.
How well it retains heat energy and methods that provide heat and light.
Recommendations can be given to save your utility bills and reduce Carbon emissions that most homes produce. With this in mind. Boost your Energy rating. Ensure your home is marketed with the best possibl rating.

I can provide two energy surveys, allowing you to make improvements before the final visit.
The first inspection, you receive the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
This will give recommendations for improvements and should give you a better rating.
If you go ahead and act on any improvements, I can return and carry out a new survey.
This revised EPC can then be included in the Home information Pack.

The cost of the second survey will be half the original EPC.
No risk to you if you decide after having the first inspection you decide that you don’t want to carry out any recommendations. The second inspection can be cancelled and use the original in your HIP.
